Pretty excited to lay down some tunes early for this one. alongside Katia Avorodis, Simon Caldwell B2B Kato and Phax Machine (LIVE).

Nightime Drama Presents a night of trippy acid, newbeat, rave and sub bass on the new and big KV2 Audio system at Club 77.

Electro stars on the night include Sydney dons Simon Caldwell and Kato playing a techno-electro-hybrid b2b set, Phax Machine performing LIVE after a long hiatus in the studio with lots of fresh music for your ears and feet, rising star and impeccable selector Katia Avorodis plus Analog Cabin founder - Drox / Critical Automator spinning some of his favourite rare electro records.

Rhapsody are celebrating their 2nd Birthday; with hosts Kate Doherty, Assembler Code, Drox and Abi under the lampshades of The Slyfox.

Packing a mixed bag, first flyer of the ship is local weapon Kate Doherty. Energising dance floors for over a decade, the House of Mince resident is sure to surprise.

With 4 releases on labels Cultivated Electronics, CPU, Private Persons and Boysnoize Records, alongside a solo EP out on International Chrome // Assembler Code shows no signs of touching the brake in 2019. Raw fierce energy for the middle of the night.

Kicking off our mix series // Drox has recently featured on the compilation Crobot Muzik out of Croatia and also contributed two tracks on Southern Outpost's sub-label, Datadisk. As well as releases on Aussie label Nightime Drama and his joint label Analog Cabin. As a Dj, live act and producer, we are super keen to have him at Rhapsody.

It's no secret we are massive fan's of Abi. She's fun she's weird and she's taking through to the early morn // It's only been a hop skip and a jump since her first ever club show, but after seeing her delight a flourish of dance floors since then, we're excited to have her back once more.

'System Updates' is a clutch of two-minute tracks designed for DJs to add layers or spice to their mixes. Made by Australian San Franciscans The Sentinel and Sol37, and Sydney’s Drox, these tracks are actually more sophisticated than the beat tools they're described as. Drox’s ‘2.1.3’ is sun-kissed electro-funk, and Sol37’s ‘2.2.5’ with its eight-bit blurts and four-four beats, is firing. These are strong, though short tracks in their own right.
