Introducing Delphic Iris Records' Fourth Vision.
Behind the Violet Veil is a collaborative debut EP from Bath’s new talent, Larkhall Paul, and Delphic Iris Co-owner 16 Faces. This joint effort marks Larkhall Paul's first foray into the world of music releases, with both of them diving deep into UK bass experiments and offering a bold and innovative sonic experience through their creative fusion. Mastered by the talented brothers at Tangible Air (Ilian Tape), the EP boasts a heavyweight low end that enhances its exploration of mysterious and secret prophecies, said to echo through the ancient town of Delphi. Each track is unified by the ambiguity of its garage-style chopped and screwed vocals, alongside funk-infused purple synths, pads, and a rumbling low end—perfect for a ritual club experience. One part Neo-Grime, one part Bristol’s purple-step, with just a dash of autonomic sexiness, Behind the Violet Veil presents a unique sonic journey. Two tracks are pressed onto a limited edition 7” dub, with a third included as a bonus digital track. Tracklist : A. 16 Faces - Delphic Whispers B. Larkhaul Paul - Silent The Voice Digital Bonus Track : 16 Faces - Delphic Whispers (Larkhall Paul Remix) Promo Feedback : “Delphic Whispers is naughty” - Bloodtrust (3024) "Drumwweeerk! and Bass! Nice one!" - Titonton Duvante (Residual Recordings NYC) "Feels fresh, love the halftime track" - Feena (EH FM Edinburgh) “Nice tools” - Eclipse Tribez (RinseFm Paris)

Drox's music can be described as heavily influenced by electro and indeed, electro past and present in all it's forms is one of his primary inspirations. But that is only one part of the picture. Techno, house, dub, ambient, experimental and all manor of deep experimental music are integral to his sound, and it's not easy to file him under any one genre or any one style or mode of production.
