Heading into Shadows of Tomorrow (2ser Radio) with Jamie Benterman & Stavros to chat about LEGO FEET w Got Music and Electro Mondo and play some tunes with Sofie Loizou & Pri Zee.
8pm - 10pm https://2ser.com/ LEGO FEET sees the return of 2 collectives joining forces for a night of motor booty tech funk, bass wobbles, deep pockets and smooth edges when Got Music and Electro Mondo set the phasers to stun and bring the noise to The Lord Gladstone.
Got Music have been secretly collecting the finest in bodacious beats, twisted rap, skewed IDM, lobe tickling house & beyond during an extended break that sees them hungry to resurface with only the best in tunes unheard. Electro Mondo will be breaking out the cardboard squares and turning the buttons marked “Squelch”, “Thump” and “Crunch” to bring you the best in the realms of Detroit, Miami Bass, Afrofuturism, Electro and Acid. Both crews have chosen special guests for this event. Estée Louder is a DJ whose pioneering CONTROL pod cleared a path for women and queer people operating and existing in the electronic music realm. Her sound spans from techno, electro and wave to house, disco and indie. A highly in demand DJ who moves between the underground and big events with ease, we are thrilled to have secured Estée for this event. Blaze is one of Sydney’s foremost experts on all things Hip Hop and Electro but his taste also dips into Exotica, Lounge and Retrofurturistic electronics. With some of the deepest crates around, Blaze always thrills and surprises with his selections that have inspired many over the years. LEGO FEET is a safe space and any untoward behaviour will not be tolerated. We hope to see you December 13 for twelve hours of music in total across 2 rooms for a night of only good music. Massive thanks to Tim Koch for the digital icon graphic we used on the flyer. |
Drox's music can be described as heavily influenced by electro and indeed, electro past and present in all it's forms is one of his primary inspirations. But that is only one part of the picture. Techno, house, dub, ambient, experimental and all manor of deep experimental music are integral to his sound, and it's not easy to file him under any one genre or any one style or mode of production.
